Since 2018 Sellia Marina has been awarded the prestigious Blue Flag recognition. Yesterday 13 May 2025 the eighth recognition!
“Blue Flag” is an international recognition conducted by the non-governmental and non-profit organization “Foundation for Environmental Education” (FEE) www.feeitalia.org .
This Programme has been merged with the United Nations Environment Programme and the United Nations World Tourism Organization .
The Blue Flag is awarded annually to seaside resorts that respect criteria relating to sustainable land management.
The quality of bathing water is an imperative criterion: only locations whose waters have been found to be excellent in the previous season can apply.
